About Me

I am currently a doctoral researcher with Lero – The Irish Software Engineering Research Centre at the University of Limerick.
My supervisors are: Dr. Ita Richardson and Dr. Xiaofeng Wang.

I joined Lero in spetember 2009 having worked for the previous 17 years in industry.
During that time I worked in several companies, with my most recent role being manager of a globally distributed IT development and support team operating under SOX regulations. Most of my background is in the area of supply chain management and systems in US multinationals with a strong focus on technology companies.

Research

My research interests are in the area of Lean and Agile Software Development Methodologies, particularly within globally distributed and regulated environments. My thesis research is on Lean Software Development and its applicability within the Medical Device domain.
