I am a Research Fellow at Lero – The Irish Software Engineering Research Centre. I am based at University of Limerick.
I am working in the field of model-driven software engineering. To support a systematic and consistent model-driven approach for large, complex and high-quality software systems in practice, model-driven techniques need to cover all relevant aspects of software development. This includes:
- Model-driven software product line engineering: to support handling and configuration of very large systems and systematic reuse,
- Model-driven development of advanced user interfaces: to integrate high-quality user interface design into systematic model-driven development, and
- Model-driven management of software evolution: to deal with changing requirements and maintenance.

We offer a Phd position in model-driven software engineering, in context of our research project on Model-driven Evolution of Variable Software-intensive Systems (ModEvo). Closing date for applications is the 31st of January 2013.
