I am Sarah Beecham – I hold the position of Research Fellow in the Process Quality Group in Lero – the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre. The Process Quality Group encompasses global software development, agile processes, planned processes, processes for software development in healthcare, and free and open source software research. I am currently working on the Lero project PAISEAN, funded by CSET2 Science Foundation Ireland, Centre for Science Engineering and Technology. I work closely with industry, implementing a Model of Global Teaming, and validating a Decision Support System that aims to tailor Global Software Development (GSD) processes to meet individual organisation needs.
