I am Sarah Beecham
I am a Research Fellow in the area of Practice, Process and Methods (PPM) in Lero – the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre. PPM encompasses global software development, agile processes, planned processes, processes for software development in healthcare, and free and open source software research. I am currently working on the Lero project: Global Software Development Industry Implementation, funded by Science Foundation Ireland, Centre for Science Engineering and Technology grant to Lero. I am working closely with industry, implementing a Model of Global Teaming, and validating an expert system that aims to tailor Global Software Development (GSD) processes to meet individual organisation needs.
