Supervision

Students who wish to write a BSc/MSc thesis under my supervision should submit a 2-page proposal that outlines:

  • Title of your research proposal
  • Brief summary (max 150 words)
  • Background of the topic – why is it important
  • Proposed method – how will you conduct the research
  • Expected outcome – what will be the outcome of the research and why will it be useful

It will also help to briefly explain why you want to do your thesis under my supervision. Familiarity with my research will be useful.
If I agree to supervise you, I will be available to provide feedback and guidance when you seek it – however, I will not chase you; your work and progress is your responsibility. Students who do not do deliver a thesis (or FYP) of sufficient quality will not receive a passing grade.
